Did You Remember to Post Your OSHA 300A Form?

OSHA 300A Form Deadline February 1st

Under the OSHA Recordkeeping regulation (29 CFR 1904), covered employers are required to prepare and maintain records of serious occupational injuries and illnesses, using the OSHA 300 Log.  This information is important for employers, workers and OSHA in evaluating the safety of a workplace, understanding industry hazards, and implementing worker protections to reduce and eliminate hazards.

Your OSHA 300A summary of work related injuries and illnesses for 2013 report must be posted at every worksite during the months of February, March, and April each year.  In addition, it must be kept for five years for inspection by OSHA and injured employees.  Remember that both field and office employees should be included in the numbers.

Forms are available from OSHA’s website:
